Now Available: NetBotz Central Version 2.3.1:

NetBotz Central 2.3.1 is a maintenance release and includes no significant new functionality. This is a list of previously noted issues and limitations that were corrected with the release of NetBotz Central 2.3.1:

  • A problem that caused devices that had been in an alert state to fail to be removed from the Alerting Devices group after the alert state had passed.
  • A problem that prevented users from creating Local Groups and Users, or modifying group memberships, after adding a Remote LDAP server.
  • A problem that prevented NetBotz Central from uploading and storing BotzWare images. The problem occurred only in situations in which the NetBotz Central console was behind a firewall, which caused it to be unable to report upgrade status properly.
  • A problem which sometimes caused appliances or pods to appear to be offline when they were in fact online.
  • A login problem that was caused by NetBotz Central keeping a large number of audio sockets open.
  • A problem with NetBotz Central Surveillance that prevented the current date in the Clip View from being selected, even though there were clips generated for the current date.
  • A problem that caused surveillance data that the user had attempted to purge to be left in the database. In this scenario, the user would purge surveillance clips from the database but when they checked the database the clips were still stored, although the pictures had been removed.
  • A problem that caused the Surveillance window to be improperly sized when displaying a clip, forcing the user to scroll down in the window to access the clip player controls.
  • A problem that occurred when graphing data from an appliance that included both internal and external sensors. In this scenario, if the user selected both internal and external sensors in the graph controls, the internal sensors wouldn't be displayed in the graph.
  • A problem that caused posting to NetBotz Central to fail when adding BotzWare 1.x appliances that did not have a DNS server specified.
