NetBotz® Extends Color to All Monitoring Appliances
Company Also Introduces Protective Enclosure for NetBotz Appliance

AUSTIN, Texas- February 20, 2003 - NetBotz®, Inc., the leading global provider of IP-based intelligent physical security solutions, today announced all of its award-winning Intelligent Monitoring Appliances are now available in color. This means that, in addition to the NetBotz 400C, which was introduced last year, the NetBotz 310C, the RackBotz® 310C and the RackBotz 400C now offer an integrated color camera as well.

More than 1,700 customers across all market segments and government levels use NetBotz to protect their critical assets and spaces from hostile physical threats.

Monitoring appliances are one component of the NetBotz Intelligent Physical Security Monitoring System. These appliances capture, record and alert about the myriad physical threats that can jeopardize infrastructure, hard assets and distributed sites. With built-in environmental sensors that alert about hostile conditions and an integrated color camera that captures and stores motion events such as intrusion, malfeasance and even human error, NetBotz appliances help organizations protect their environments across the enterprise. In addition to appliances, NetBotz offers centralized management and control, which gives customers the ability to mass configure and manage their enterprise NetBotz deployment, as well as hardware and software add-ons.

NetBotz today also announced it is offering a NetBotz Protective Enclosure, which protects the NetBotz Monitoring Appliance from being tampered with or vandalized. The enclosure is built from thick sheet metal, with a thick plastic front covering. Moreover, the design protects both the network connection as well as the power cord. This feature is especially helpful in certain market segments, such as in the education sector, where vandalism is a problem.
