NetBotz® Further Expands International Reach
Signs Mayflex in the UK as Distribution Partner

AUSTIN, Texas- January 27, 2003 - NetBotz®, Inc., the leading global provider of IP-based intelligent physical security solutions, today announced it has signed a strategic agreement with Mayflex, one of the U.K.'s leading distributors of cabling systems and networking components. Under terms outlined in the contract, Mayflex will stock and distribute the NetBotz monitoring solution, which includes monitoring appliances, centralized monitoring and management and add-on hardware and software.

NetBotz already has more than 100 customers throughout Europe.

As the network becomes the convergence point for different applications, companies in the cabling industry are looking for innovative ways to develop and sell new cable-based (i.e., network) applications. Physical security over the network is one of these emerging opportunities. That's because, increasingly, physical threats--from human error or malfeasance to environmental conditions such as extreme temperature or humidity--are receiving as much attention from IT professionals as digital threats.
