- Select the NetBotz Central 2.x on which you’d like to run the trial software from the drop-down list of NetBotz Central’s. Click the “Submit” button.

Downloading and Installing the Surveillance Add-on in NetBotz Central:
- If you’re running NBC 2.4, simply create a CD from this image:
http://updates.netbotz.com/patches/nbc/2.4.0/bcapps.iso, or download this .zip file:
http://updates.netbotz.com/patches/nbc/2.4.0/bcapps.zip. If you’re not running NBC 2.4, please contact NetBotz Support to obtain the NBC Upgrade images for your server.
- After you have the surveillance media (either CD or extracted .zip), open NetBotz Central and go to “Tools, Server Administration, Install/Upgrade Management”.
- Click the middle tab called “NetBotz Central Add-on Applications”. Once there, click “Browse to File” and browse to the CD or extracted .zip folder you made.
- Once you’ve found the master.release file and double clicked it, NBC should now show that the “Version available to upload” is 2.4.0. If so, select that line and press
“Install” at the bottom of the page.
- After the server installs the software it will close the application so you will need to log back in, then download the file from the server when it prompts you.
Again, it will close, then you will be able to login again and you should now see the Surveillance icon in the NetBotz Central Console software.
Note: Only the Administrator account will immediately have access to the
Surveillance view. Other user accounts will not have access to this role until
the Administrator authorizes them to use the new function. The
Administrator must use the User/Group Administration task to add the
Surveillance service and enable access for non-Administrator user accounts
before users will have access to the Surveillance view. For more information,
see “User/Group Administration” in your NetBotz Central User’s Reference.
