- Why should I try NetBotz Surveillance?
NetBotz Surveillance is a powerful add-on software application that captures all activity and events that occur in a critical area. NetBotz Surveillance may be used in traditional surveillance applications (ie viewing live events as they occur), as well as "fire and forget" mode, continuously capturing and retaining activity for retrieval and reference at a later date. The combination is a powerful addition to your comprehensive IT security program.
- Will the trial require special cabling or other logistical considerations?
No. As with all NetBotz products, NetBotz Surveillance runs on the IP network and is accessible from any internet access point. No additional cable will be needed to try (or roll out) NetBotz Surveillance on your installed base of NetBotz cameras and appliances.
Since NetBotz Surveillance runs on your NetBotz Central Server and captures images from NetBotz camera's already deployed, you already have all the equipment necessary to try the software already exists. Simply unlock the software using the license key, and begin capturing images.
NetBotz Surveillance will not affect any of your current NetBotz configurations or policies.
- How long does the trial period last?
NetBotz's Surveillance Trial software is active for 30-days, beginning when the license key is generated. Limit 1 trial license per NetBotz Central.
- How many NetBotz appliances can be supported with the NetBotz Surveillance Trial?
The trial license supports up to 15 NetBotz appliances for 30 days.
- How do I sign up?
- Access http://register.netbotz.com with your web browser
- Follow the instructions to create an account or login using your account if you already have one
- You must first register the product that you wish to redeem the license key for; to do this select "Add Product" to register your appliance
- Once your NetBotz Central is registered return to your product registration home page, and click on the "Try a 30-Day Surveillance Trial License" link.
- Select the NetBotz Central 2.x you'd like to run the trial on from the drop-down list of NetBotz Central's. Click the "Submit" button.
- Follow the instructions presented to you to receive your one time trial license key
Note: The 30-Day Surveillance Trial works on NetBotz Central's running v2.3 and higher software
- What happens to the clips captured during the trial when the trial period ends?
NetBotz Surveillance clips will be retained on the NetBotz Central. After the trial ends, the Surveillance clips may be retrieved upon the purchase and download of NetBotz Surveillance software.
